Recruitment. This and materials and crafts are majoring in inorganic non -metallic materials engineering. It has held 6 sessions of gemstones and undergraduate education. It is one of the earliest colleges and universities in China to launch gemstone education. After the Ministry of Education officially established this major, the Department of Gem and Materials Crafts was established in 2011. It has been enrolled for 8 consecutive years, and there are currently 304 students. So far, Qilu University of Technology is the only university in Shandong Province to set up gemstones and materials and technology. Students' pass rates in the national unified examination of "GAC Gem Identification" have maintained more than 95%(the average national pass rate is only about 40%per year). It has also won awards in competitions such as diamond grading. The gemstone majors have 6 full -time teachers, including 4 doctors and 2 masters, and 3 people with senior titles. A number of teachers have served as referees of national jewelry and jade appraisal competition, deputy chairman of the China Treasure Association Academic Education Professional Committee and deputy secretary -general, member of the Shandong Provincial Local Standardization Committee, HRD Diamond Holviar, HRD, Belgium Essence
